Missing hours from your pay-check?
You’re not alone. This is a common occurrence. Here’s what you should do:
- Let your supervisor know about the problem. You should approach them with a steward if possible.
- If the issue is not corrected by the next pay-check, contact the union office immediately. Have a detailed record of your hours ready, as well as a copy of your pay-stub. DON’T WAIT!
- We will contact the company’s office to ask for your hours, and file a grievance if necessary.
Keeping track of your hours is extremely important. If you don’t do this already, download this chart and fill it out ALL OF THE TIME SLOTS. When a problem arises, you will have some documented evidence of your worked hours.
